Vision

Dog Trainer by day,

Web Designer by night.

(Ahh who am I kidding, I do both day and night!)

I build websites for people who put animal welfare first, helping force-free professionals build beautiful websites, so you can spend more time with dogs and less time on your computer.

Let me save you the time of explaining your business to a developer who doesn't know what a "threshold" is.

With a portfolio ranging from community sports to SR&ED consulting to homeschooling blogs and doula services, I bring diverse technical experience to the force-free world. Your website should be as reliable as your relationships with your clients (human and canine).

I know exactly what a Force Free professional needs. From intake forms for reactive dogs, clear explanations of force-free methods, and specific imagery, I get it.

Yep, it's just me.

I’m just a small town girl, living in a dog’s world.
I’m a military spouse, homeschooling mom of three, and professional Pet Dog trainer… what’s one more thing?

In all seriousness, though, I love the creative muscles I get to flex while building websites, and I love supporting like minded dog pros.

So combining the two just makes sense, right?
It does to me!
This journey started for me in 2019, and tuck in because it’s a long one (and I have yet to master the art of making a long story short…)

A fellow military spouse had posted in a spouse’s group in 2017 that she was looking for employees and I thought it was a total scam. I saw another one of her posts in 2019 and reached out again, wanting to contribute to household finances and also hoping to take our kids on a trip to Disney.

She gave me a shot, looking for my writing style… which she liked but it wasn’t what she was looking for. However, she liked me enough, and liked how hard I was trying to please her, that she offered to teach me how to manage her websites… she had five at the time.

We started with the Pet Project [which is totally a pun because it was PetawawaPets.ca, a website she made to create awareness and education for pet owners in Petawawa].

Once I gained some skills, she trusted me with another website, LizLance.ca, her professional personal website. Then, the big, scary, important websites, The InGenuity Group and SR&ED Education and Resources

She also recommended me to a few other businesses, one of which decided not to do a website, and another who I believe is no longer active, but the website is still up… you can check it out if you’d like! It was a really fun one to do!

Since that time, I’ve also built two (well, now three) of my own websites, Three Life Learners and Your Happy Dog Coach (aka YHDC… see where I got the name for the consulting business? 😉)

Recently, I was commissioned to re-build a website for the Petawawa Minor Soccer Club, and when I talked about it to some Facebook friends, there was interest in having me do one for them.

Well, I know how to build websites, and I know about ForceFree/Positive Reinforcement Dog Training (way more than I knew about the Petawawa Minor Soccer Club or Scientific Research and Experimental Development), so something *clicked* and I thought “Let’s do it!”

So here we are!

Thanks so much for being here!
